Dive into your next DIY project with the MiCS-5524 Air Quality Gas Sensor Module! Designed for easy integration with Arduino systems, this compact and powerful sensor module is perfect for monitoring air quality with sensitivity to multiple gases including:
- Carbon Monoxide (CO) – approx. 1 to 1000 ppm
- Ammonia (NH3) – approx. 1 to 500 ppm
- Ethanol (C2H5OH) – approx. 10 to 500 ppm
- Hydrogen (H2) – approx. 1 to 1000 ppm
- Methane, Propane, Iso-Butane – approx. 1,000++ ppm
Note: This sensor cannot specify which gas it has detected.
Product Features:
- Power requirements: 5 VDC
- Current Draw: 25-35mA
- Analog Voltage Output proportional to gas concentration
- Easy to use with an EN pin for low-power conservation
- Light soldering needed for the header (included with purchase)
Enhance your learning and build exciting projects with the MiCS-5524 sensor. The sensor’s robust design and MEMS technology make it suitable for applications including indoor air quality monitoring, breath checking, and early fire detection.
Each order includes one assembled and tested MiCS-5524 breakout and a bit of header for your immediate start. Please remember sensor requires calibration for accurate results.
NOTE: Ensure to wait a second after turning the heater on for optimal performance.
